Picture
Citizen Planning meets the Downtown Parking Challenge

REVAMP stands for REaltime Visualization and Mapping Project.  It is is a citizen planning tool, to help local residents and the city collect data for transportation issues.  This first tool focuses on the downtown parking problem, to input city parking counts and enable citizen efforts to gather parking counts   The hope get data at wider ranges of times, for more accurate data, and to create an instant visualization tool to shorten the timeframe for display & analysis. REVAMP consists of three parts:

1. Input Tool: An easy to use tool to count cars parked in and around downtown at different times of day
 2. Database: Central database to collect historical city data sets, citizen generated neighborhood counts, and future counts by city or citizen data collection efforts
3. Visualization: Dynamic displays of parking concentrations over the course of a day, the course of a week or even yearly times.
