Events > Community Forum - Growth Without Gridlock

Picture
Date: Saturday August 17, 2013
Time: 1-2:30p
Location: Avenidas Senior Center - La Comida
450 Bryant Street Palo Alto, CA 94301
Palo Alto is a great place to live, work and play.  But steady growth in the downtown area over the last 15-20 years has created challenges especially around parking and transportation.

Is it possible to have growth without gridlock?  Green Planning Action believes it is. Other cities and organizations have wrestled with similar issues and developed environmentally friendly innovative new solutions.  We are hosting a community forum to learn from a panel of professional transportation experts who are shaping the best practices of managing growth without gridlock:

Brodie Hamilton, Director Parking & Transportation, Stanford University
Gary Heap, City of San Mateo Transportation Engineer
Wendy Silvani, Director, Silvani Transportation Consulting
